      <image:title>Home - What do we teach?</image:title>
<image:caption>Our Middle School curriculum walks students through the foundations of the Christian Faith. Middle school is often the time students start exploring not only what they believe, but why they believe it. We encourage them to dig into their faith, by digging into God’s Word. Students are taught the foundations of the Christian faith and given the tools to study their Bibles so they can continue to learn and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ throughout their lives.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - How is this legal?</image:title>
<image:caption>In 1952 the Supreme Court upheld “Release Time Education” as being constitutional in all 50 states. Justice William O. Douglas, speaking for the majority, concluded that the first amendment prohibits governmental financing of religion or in taking religious instruction, it does not require the government to be hostile toward religion. So in 1952, the United States Supreme court approved “Release Time Education”.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Our program is completely free to our students. We do not charge students to attend. We also do not take any federal funding or assistance from the school system. This program is funded from churches, individuals, and businesses who believe in the importance of our students studying the Word of God as part of their educational curriculum.</image:caption>

<image:title>Our Purpose - Providing students an opportunity to engage with the Word of God during their public school day.</image:title>
<image:caption>The Franklin County Christian Learning Center exists to introduce and disciple students in Jesus Christ. In an ever changing world, we are committed to teach the solid, unchanging truths of God’s Word. The World around us is dark and Satan is fighting to deceive all people, but particularly our students. We are committed to going on the offense and teaching our students who God is, how to study their Bible, and what God says about them. Students are given the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. They are taught Biblically grounded truths about who they are and who God is. In a way that relates to them, they are given tools to learn how to study their Bibles and grow in their faith in Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to teaching students what God says about life, what God says is right and wrong, what God says about truth, and what God says about eternity. Through our extensive Bible-based curriculum, our teachers introduce students to Jesus Christ and also challenge students to become faithful followers of Him. Together, we unpack God's Word, showing them that truth and life are found solely in Him! We will address real-life issues such as forgiveness, respect, humility, service, gratitude, relationships, and various other topics essential to character development. We are committed to teaching students the truth and showing them that God has a plan and a purpose for them. We believe God’s Word will transform their lives, shaping them into more diligent students, more respectful family members, more productive citizens, and more competent, confident, and content young people. Our purpose is for Franklin County students to be so grounded and firm in their knowledge and belief in Jesus Christ that they can be as bold as lions in the midst of a wicked world.</image:caption>

      <image:title>FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions.</image:title>
<image:caption>Q: Who can attend the program? Currently any Franklin County middle school or high school student is eligible to take classes at the Franklin County Christian Learning Center. The only requirement the FCCLC has for taking any course offered is a signed permission form from a parent or guardian. Q: Who sponsors the program? The financial resources for this program come from generous individuals, churches, foundations, and businesses. We receive no money from the public school, federal, state, county, or city governments.. Q: How is this program legal? In 1952 the Supreme Court upheld “Release Time Education” as being constitutional in all 50 states. Justice William O. Douglas, speaking for the majority, concluded that the first amendment prohibits governmental financing of religion or in taking religious instruction, it does not require the government to be hostile toward religion. So in 1952, the United States Supreme court approved “Release Time Education”. Q: What can I do to help? You can help us by joining us in prayer, donations, or volunteer time. We need an army of prayer warriors supporting this program. We also rely on donations from individuals, businesses, and churches to sustain our program financially. Please consider donating financially. We also allow for a limited number of volunteers each semester. Volunteers must be cleared by the school system.</image:caption>
